Samsung and Barnes & Noble Release Galaxy Tab 4 Nook 10.1

Published Categorized as Journal

Earlier this year, Samsung and Barnes & Noble teamed-up to release the 7-inch Galaxy Tab 4 Nook. Now, the two companies co-developed another, bigger tablet, the Galaxy Tab 4 Nook 10.1. Besides introducing the new tablet, the two companies also announced that Galaxy Tab 4 Nook 10.1 arrives with a new Nook software and that this will also arrive on its 7-inch sibling.
The new 10.1-inch tablet co-developed by Samsung and Barnes & Noble shares its hardware platform with the original Galaxy Tab 4. It boasts about a 10.1-inch display with 1280 x 800 resolution, while being underpinned by a quad-core 1.2 GHz processor paired with 1.5 GB of RAM. It also features 16 GB of native storage expandable using microSD cards up to 64 GB. On the back of the tablet there’s a 3 MP primary shooter, while the front panel accommodates a 1.3 MP sensor. You have no reason to use a 10-inch tablet as a camera, so Samsung didn’t make too much fuss about the camera aspects.Kingzone N3 MTK6582
Just like the 7-inch Galaxy Tab 4 Nook, the 10-inch slate is running Android customized with Nook software. B&N promise that the new UI will bring better shopping experience, improved navigation, and that it allows easier jumps between one content to another. You should also notice that navigating through the library is now easier and that it has support for both portrait and landscape orientation. If you happen to own the 7-inch Galaxy Nook, we are glad to announce you that the new software will soon become available for your tablet, too.
The new Galaxy Tab 4 Nook 10.1 is already up for grabs in Barnes & Noble’s online and physical stores. Oh, I almost forgot. It has “an introductory price” of $299.99, but no one knows how long the discount will be live or what’s the full price of the new 10.1-inch Nook tablet.
